That Hurt

Well that hurt…I did an open mic tonight, tried some new stuff  which evoked some unsettling feelings of fear and insecurity.  I didn’t feel so well afterwards.

Fear can hold us all back , make us do bad things…but to walk through it, is an amazing feeling .  After all was said and done, it was pretty cool to actually feel how I felt tonight.  Kind of like a teenager making out for the first time    A few years ago that would not have been the case, so I guess I am lucky to be able to make people laugh and feel uncomfortable all at the same time.  It is also pretty cool that my funny friends totally understand my crazy sense of humor.

PS: There was an interesting character there tonight that has a theory that women like to be called Bi_tHes.  This girl in pearls does not, theory is null and void!

PSS: Give it up for my Funny Sister Michaela Alaina  who took the stage for the first time and KILLED it!

Ok, I need to go pack for Chicago…I will be doing stand up there tomorrow night
